Chapel Exhibitions in Balatonboglár
(Attila Csernik)

The Chapel Studio of the Cemetery Hill in Balatonboglár, led by fine artist György Galántai, became known in the European art scene within a short space of time. The foremost Hungarian and recently more and more foreign representatives of the latest art trends – neoconstructivism, interventionism, visual research, conceptual art, visual poetry, etc. – met here for three summers. Last year Yugoslavia was represented by the Bosch + Bosch Group from Szabadka (Subotica), and this year by a nine-member group from the Vajdaság (Voivodina) pursuing art in the spirit of the most up-to-date trends.

The Chapel Studio in Balatonboglár, one of a kind in Hungary, fosters mutual ties between Hungarian and foreign artists.
