In Historieta para armar the public received an envelope containing a comic-strip template and an instruction card. The incomplete images were intended to be finished by the recipient, who could subsequently destroy the result or return it for display. The project is an example of Vigo’s participatory practice in which the traditional roles of artist, artwork and spectator were deliberately destabilized.
