Comment: The project Mail-Art Memorabilia was a landmark exhibition curated by Guy Bleus at the Belgian Postmuseum (Brussels) in 1995. Utilizing the vast holdings of his personal archive, "The Administration Centre – 42.292" (founded in 1978), Bleus presented a comprehensive survey of the international Mail Art network. The exhibition functioned as a bridge between the institutional postal system and the alternative "Netland" created by artists.

“I started to compose my first E-letters around 1987. But only printed versions could then be used to really spread my works into the Postal Art Network. Today (end 1993) I can send disks to almost thirty correspondents…” Source: Francois, Charles: Multimedia Correspondence. B&W Works from Charles Francois, R.A.T.
